Our Story
ZIM was based on a traveller's need for data upon arriving at a new place. It was a problem that needed to be solved.
November 2020
Registering ZIM Connections was the first step. Filled with excitement, we started our journey.
July 2021
After some rapid growth, we needed support. Key members of our team joined here and helped push ZIM further.
November 2021
After months of remote work, we finally met at the Web Summit in Lisbon, where we shared ZIM with the world, and the response was fantastic.
March 2022
We are so proud to officially launch our app. We are finally connecting people everywhere at all times.

The eSIM is the future of connectivity. It's a digital SIM card permanently embedded into a mobile device. It's used to confirm your identity with your carrier, making buying a new data plan completely digital. With ZIM, you can browse through affordable eSIM data plans from over 120 countries, purchase, and activate them on your device.
